JIANGHU CHRONICLES is a Wuxia-themed clan simulator, which focuses on simulating Jianghu clans and experiencing realistic battle. Set up a clan of your own, recruit disciples, complete missions... And eventually make your clan second to none by improving its power and reputation.
About the game
◼ SET UP YOUR CLAN
You can choose a site to set up your clan at the very beginning. Different sites output different resources. You can also customize your clan by allocating a few points.◼ CONSTRUCT YOUR CLAN
You can construct/upgrade/destruct buildings at clan construction interface. Each type of building has its own usage, such as training disciples, crafting weapons, developing martial arts, preaching knowledge, etc.◼ COMBINE INTERNAL & EXTERNAL MARTIAL ARTS
Martial arts consist of internal ones and external ones. By practicing internal martial arts, disciples can not only obtain various passive effects but also change their attributes of internal martial arts. These attributes greatly influence the power and the effect of external martial arts, so a good combination is vital to improving fighting capacity.◼ CRAFT WEAPONS
You can craft all kinds of equipment and resources at the crafting shop. Each weapon has its own attributes. Strengthening a weapon will add new attributes or upgrade existing attributes. You can greatly improve disciples' fighting capacity by crafting appropriate weapons for them.◼ MAKE PROPOSALS INTERNALLY & EXTERNALLY
You can make proposals internally and externally at the clan interface. Internal proposals include affairs inside your own clan. External proposals include affairs between your own clan and other clans, such as trading, alignment, declaring war, etc.◼ MARTIAL ART DEMO
There are about one hundred external martial arts and over one hundred internal martial arts in game. Each disciple can be equipped with 2 external ones and 4 internal ones at most. A logical combination will make the utmost of martial arts.◼ CLAN DEMO
At the clan interface, you can know and apply the usage of each building, and see your disciples act as instructed. You can also see disciples from other clans and paladins from Jianghu pay a visit to your clan if you get acquainted with them outside.◼ LOCATION DEMO
You can meet various characters when disciples go out for missions or explorations. Some of them can be challenged and you will get bonuses if you win. Sometimes you may also encounter random events, for which you have to make a choice.

This is the story of a world in which pretty much everything is controlled and watched over by computer programs.
One day, Nanashi―a young boy who has been cooped up in his room―meets a mysterious girl.
“Let’s make some friends.”
“OK!”
Nanashi accepts the young girl’s sudden invitation without giving it much thought.
At that very moment, some very strange things begin to occur in town...
Detective Part (Story Mode)
Gather information and topics by exploring the town and speaking with people to progress through the story.
Conversation Part (Story Mode)
Use the topics and info you’ve gathered to piece together conversations while progressing through the story. (The game ends when your HP reaches 0.)
Free Mode (After clearing Story Mode)
Talk and mingle with the residents of the town, make friends, and play mini games in Free Mode.
*This title was originally a free game, but the Steam version includes specially added events, etc.
This was the 3rd game I made, where I first experimented with a side-scrolling system, voice over and detective elements.
I probably spent the most time working on these 3 things, including revisions.
When designing the town, I had foreign cartoons in mind and was aiming more towards a foreign audience than a Japanese one.
However, the game is set in Japan of the near future and the character design is aimed more towards the Japanese aesthetic.
I took advantage of the fact the game is set in Japan to make some cultural references here and there.
"An adventure game where you make friends". Not a typical tag-line, but if there is any aspect that takes your fancy I hope you will play my game!
